[Financial News] The number of domestic unmanned stores with HouseCook water purifier cookers has exceeded 2000.
HouseCook announced on the 16th that due to the rising popularity of K-Ramen and the expansion of unmanned ice cream stores in the summer, the number of installations increased by 1000 within 4 months after completing 1000 installations in March this year.
The HouseCook water purifier cooker is a multi-kitchen appliance that combines a water purifier and induction, not just a ramen cooker. It can be used as a water purifier in normal times and switched to induction for cooking various foods.
This breakthrough of 2000 installations is attributed to the convenience of using the water purifier cooker and its low maintenance cost. The installation locations are expanding to include 24-hour convenience stores, ice cream shops, and fishing boats. Additionally, installations are increasing at highway rest areas where employees leave after 8 PM, allowing drivers to cook for themselves. The popularity of K-Ramen has also led to more installations in stores located in areas with many foreign tourists.
Overseas exports are also expanding. HouseCook successfully signed contracts worth a total of 15 million dollars with five countries, including the United States, Bulgaria, China, and the Netherlands, at the Korea Product Expo held in Vienna, Austria last October. Half of these exports are to the United States.
Shin Young-seok, CEO of HouseCook, said, “Although overseas export volumes are increasing, we are operating the production line all day to meet domestic order deadlines,” adding, “We will strive to meet the delivery schedules for both exports and domestic supplies.”
