【Financial News Ulsan=Choi Soo-sang Reporter】To commemorate the inscription of the 'Bangudae Petroglyphs' as a UNESCO World Heritage site, Ulsan Ulju-gun has prepared various events. According to Ulju-gun on the 16th, this event is designed to promote local tourism by encouraging participation from local residents and external tourists. A total of 5 programs will be conducted under the theme of the World Heritage 'Bangudae Petroglyphs'.
First, a 'Stamp Tour' is prepared where visitors collect stamps by visiting 9 selected sites related to the Bangudae Petroglyphs in Ulju-gun. The stamp zones include △Ulsan Daegok Museum △Cheonjeon-ri Dinosaur Footprint Fossil △Cheonjeon-ri Inscription and Petroglyphs △Ulsan Petroglyph Museum △Jipcheongjeong △Banguseowon △Bangoseowon Monument △Daegok-ri Dinosaur Footprint Fossil △Daegok-ri Bangudae Petroglyphs, totaling 9 sites. Participants must complete the temporarily established Bangudae Petroglyphs course to enter the event. Among those who collect all the stamps, 100 people will be selected by lottery to receive Ulju specialties (worth 20,000 won) and two types of Bangudae Petroglyphs magnets.
A 'Tourist Taxi Bangudae Tour' is also operated for tourists from outside Ulsan. Tourists can choose from a 4-hour or 8-hour course, selecting one of the courses that tour either the western area or the entire Ulju. The western area course includes △Ulsan Daegok Museum △Cheonjeon-ri Inscription and Petroglyphs △Ulsan Petroglyph Museum △Bangudae Petroglyphs. The comprehensive course covering the entire Ulju is conducted on an 8-hour schedule. The usage fee is 40,000 won for 4 hours and 80,000 won for 8 hours, and the first 10 tourists participating in the tour will receive specialties.
Additionally, a 'Friend Guide' program is operated, where cultural tourism interpreters explain tourist sites, with 9 programs available. If you use 2 of these programs, you will receive a Bangudae Petroglyphs magnet and other souvenirs as part of the 'Double Event'. Furthermore, during the event period, among those who complete the Bangudae course of the stamp tour and participate in 2 Friend Guide programs, 10 people will be selected by lottery to receive a commemorative silver medal of Cheonjeon-ri Inscription and Petroglyphs.
