[Financial News] A pregnant woman in labor safely arrived at the hospital with the swift support of a police patrol car on the congested Olympic Road due to rush hour traffic.
According to the Seoul Seocho Police Station on the 16th, on the 11th at around 7:40 PM, the Banpo District Patrol Team received an urgent request for help from a driver while passing Olympic Road after handling a traffic violation report at the southern end of Banpo Bridge.
Inside the vehicle was a heavily pregnant woman experiencing sudden labor pains. Although the guardian had already reported to 112 and 119, it was expected that it would take a considerable amount of time for an ambulance to arrive due to rush hour traffic congestion.
The patrol team immediately took the pregnant woman and her guardian in the patrol car and headed to the hospital. A traffic patrol car that arrived shortly thereafter escorted the Banpo District patrol car to the hospital.
The patrol car arrived at the emergency room of Asan Medical Center in Seoul, and the mother was immediately transferred to the delivery room where she gave birth to a son. Both the mother and the newborn are currently recovering in healthy condition.
