Support for Innovation Activities of 7 Companies and Smart Factory Construction of 1 Company
[Financial News] The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (TS) is stepping up to support the innovation activities of small and medium-sized enterprises and the creation of a smart manufacturing environment.
TS announced on the 16th that it is recruiting companies to participate in the '2025 Large and Small Business Innovation Partnership Support Project' and the '2025 Win-Win Smart Factory Construction Support Project' until the 25th.
The Innovation Partnership Project selects 7 small and medium-sized enterprises to support tailored innovation activities worth 7 million won per company. The support areas include △response to low birthrate and aging △work-life balance △ESG management △new product and technology development △certification and patent acquisition △promotion and marketing.
The Smart Factory Support Project is a project that TS is participating in for the first time this year, selecting one manufacturing SME to support the introduction of information systems and automation facilities with a total scale of 100 million won (40 million won self-contribution by the company). The target for support is companies aiming for an advanced factory of 'Intermediate 1' level or higher, capable of real-time collection and analysis of production information.
Details of both projects can be found on the TS website and the Win-Win Platform, and SMEs wishing to participate can apply by email. Companies located in Gyeongbuk and TS SME Technology Market certified companies are given additional points.
Yong-Sik Jeong, Chairman of TS, said, “TS has been selected as the top institution for win-win growth evaluation for two consecutive years through the discovery of innovative win-win growth activities,” and added, “We will continue to strive for sustainable growth of the region and SMEs based on various win-win cooperation projects.”
