Due to the heatwave arriving earlier than usual, the number of visitors to Caribbean Bay, a leading domestic water park, has noticeably increased.

According to data released by Samsung C&T Resort Division on the 16th, more than 100,000 visitors have visited Caribbean Bay in the past two weeks since the beginning of this month when the heatwave started. This represents an approximately 25% increase compared to the same period last year, according to Samsung C&T.

In particular, an analysis of the age group of Caribbean Bay visitors showed that the young generation aged 13 to 24 accounted for an overwhelming 64%, attracting attention.

Caribbean Bay has attracted visitors with its hot weather, global popular IP 'One Piece' collaboration, and exciting 'Water Music Pool Party', which have gained popularity among the younger generation.

Reflecting this popularity trend centered on the MZ generation, online search volume for Caribbean Bay has also increased by more than 20% compared to the same period last year, Samsung C&T added.

Meanwhile, Caribbean Bay is receiving a good response from the younger generation by presenting 'Water Music Pool Party' with famous artists every week. Following the special stage by popular group Koyote last weekend (12th), QWER (19th), Triple S (26th), and Rise (August 7th) have already confirmed their schedules, raising expectations.
