Dell Technologies has unveiled two new AI PC products in its premium consumer laptop lineup, 'Dell Premium', on the 16th.
Earlier this year, Dell integrated its consumer PC product line, designed to deliver exceptional performance in everyday life such as work, entertainment, and learning, into the Dell portfolio under a new unified branding strategy. The existing premium consumer product lineup 'Dell XPS' has been reborn as 'Dell Premium'. 'Dell Premium' inherits the design philosophy of 'XPS', offering an innovative minimalist design that emphasizes simplicity and top-notch specifications for an elevated user experience.
The new products, 'Dell 14 Premium' and 'Dell 16 Premium', are premium consumer laptops equipped with 14.5 and 16.3-inch displays, respectively, and feature InfinityEdge technology that reduces the thickness of the four-sided bezel for an exceptional immersive experience.
With the 'Intel Core Ultra 200H series' CPU, it provides up to 33% faster processing speed for everyday tasks and up to 21% faster for simple 3D work and creative app usage, supporting seamless multitasking, video editing, and online collaboration with a memory speed of up to 8400MHz. Advanced multithreading technology allows parallel use of multiple CPU cores, boosting the speed of complex workflows such as high-resolution video editing by up to 23%.
It also features a power-saving 2K LCD display to ensure longer battery life. The 'Dell 14 Premium' offers up to 20 hours, and the 'Dell 16 Premium' provides up to 27 hours of battery life, ensuring continuity of work without power connection. Additionally, with fan blades made of innovative liquid crystal polymer material and chassis design maximizing airflow, it maintains a quiet and comfortable working environment even during data-intensive tasks.
With CNC-machined aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3 materials, it boasts a slim, sleek, and durable design, while the capacitive touch button on the top row of the keyboard and the 'edge-to-edge' keyboard with large keycaps on either side enhance aesthetic satisfaction.
These new products are eco-friendly laptops reflecting Dell's unique value of sustainability, having obtained 'Gold' rating and Climate+ certification from the US Electronic Product Environmental Assessment Tool (EPEAT), and Energy Star certification, and will be delivered to customers in 100% recyclable, eco-friendly packaging.
Focusing on a larger display and high performance, the 'Dell 16 Premium' is equipped with the Intel Core Ultra processor 9 (45W) and the 'GeForce RTX 50 series' laptop GPU based on NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, supporting excellent graphics quality that enhances immersion based on AI, and improved image generation performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology. Intel Thunderbolt 5 (optional) supports efficient multitasking and ultra-fast data transfer at an innovative speed of up to 80/120Gbps. For users primarily engaged in creative work, it also offers an OLED display option supporting 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The 'Dell 14 Premium', which perfectly balances portability and performance, offers the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 GPU and an OLED display supporting 3.2K resolution as an option, achieving up to 29% faster work speed, allowing for work or content viewing on a clearer screen. It also supports the latest Wi-Fi 7, which is 4.8 times faster than the previous generation, enabling ultra-fast downloads of high-quality and large files.
The new 'Dell Premium Laptop' products will be released this month.
Kim Kyung-jin, General Manager of Dell Technologies Korea, said, "The 'Dell Premium' laptop, which inherits the loyal premium laptop brand 'XPS', is expected to provide the best computing experience for various users, including creators, by perfectly harmonizing performance, design, and sustainability," and added, "As the end of support for Windows 10 approaches, we will support users to effectively prepare for an AI-based future with fast performance, AI-based applications, and excellent security features."
