On the 15th, JTBC released footage showing a luxury Mercedes-Benz sedan slowly appearing on the street. There were 6 bodyguards on either side, and the person waving from inside the moving car was Lee Man-hee, the leader of Shincheonji.

A nearby resident explained the situation at the time, saying, "At first, I thought the president had arrived. The security was almost at the level of presidential security..."

Meanwhile, women dressed in yellow hanbok waved and cheered towards the vehicle carrying Lee Man-hee.

This was the scene in front of the Shincheonji Church in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, last May.

It is illegal for ordinary vehicles to install sirens or block signals and control traffic. However, Shincheonji did not care.

In Daegu in 2022 and 2023, there were also scenes captured of Lee Man-hee and Shincheonji leaders leading vehicles with sirens, blocking roads, and driving.

According to Shincheonji's internal policy, "The car carrying Chairman Lee Man-hee must not stop."

A former Shincheonji member explained the reason, saying, "The procession must not be disrupted, they dislike that, so it must enter impressively."

The police have launched an investigation and have so far identified and booked 4 people who drove the Shincheonji leaders' vehicles.
