IBK Bank Selected as Final Participant in Ministry of Interior and Safety's Mobile ID Private Sector Opening

[Financial News] IBK Bank announced on the 15th that it was finally selected as a participant in the '2025 Mobile ID Private Sector Opening' contest announced by the Ministry of Interior and Safety on the 13th.
The bank was finally selected as a participant by a selection committee composed of experts, recognized for its excellence in each evaluation category such as security level, personal information protection measures, reliability, and disability response system.
The mobile ID is a state-certified means of proving an individual's identity, which can be safely stored on a personal smartphone and used conveniently, just like a physical ID.
The bank plans to build the system in March next year and provide mobile ID services through its mobile banking i-ONE Bank in the second half of the year.
A bank official stated, "With this final selection as a participant in the mobile ID private sector opening, customer convenience is expected to increase further," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide a convenient and secure financial app."
