[Financial News] B2B financial AI (Artificial Intelligence) agent company Webcash announced on the 15th that it has successfully completed the establishment of a research administration integrated system (rERP) at the Sookmyung Women's University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation and has begun full-scale operation.
This project is a case where Sookmyung Women's University transitioned its existing SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) based system to Webcash's next-generation research administration platform, rERP, successfully transferring large-scale data and adapting the system to the actual administrative environment. Core data such as project budgets, labor costs, and research expenditure details have been transferred to the new system for immediate use, and it is being evaluated as a substantial achievement.
With the introduction of rERP, the Sookmyung Women's University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation can handle the entire process from planning, execution, settlement, to performance reporting of research projects in one system. Previously, expenditure resolutions and supporting documents had to be entered into a separate system, but in the new system, data linkage with the dedicated institution is automatically achieved with a single entry, greatly improving the consistency, accuracy, and processing speed of administrative tasks.
The mobile environment has also been enhanced. Researchers can not only view research expenditure details and project information in real-time through the rERP dedicated app, but also have a pre-meeting application function, allowing support regardless of time and place. Internal control functions have also been strengthened, and a performance-based project management system has been introduced, which is expected to enhance the strategic use and transparency of research achievements.
This establishment is a case of stable transfer of large-scale research administrative data in an SAP-based environment, and is attracting attention as it can serve as a benchmark model for other universities and research institutions considering similar system transitions.
Kang Wonjoo, CEO of Webcash, said, "The fact that data from the existing SAP system has been perfectly transferred and can be used immediately on the new platform is a very encouraging achievement," adding, "It will greatly contribute to creating an environment conducive to research immersion, as researchers and practitioners can handle administrative tasks more quickly and accurately."
