Yoga Program to be Held at Taebaek Aurora Park on August 2
This Starlight Yoga event will be held at Taebaek Aurora Park, located at an altitude of 900m, where tropical nights are almost non-existent, offering a precious opportunity to escape from the daily city life and connect solely with nature and the heart.
Starlight Yoga is a healing program where participants, under the guidance of a professional yoga instructor, continue deep breathing amidst the starlight of the night sky and soothing music, releasing tension from their minds and bodies from the weary daily life and regaining tranquility.
The Starlight Yoga event, designed for family participants to join together, offers a variety of themed programs blending nature, art, and experiences that everyone can enjoy, regardless of age or gender.
Yodel performances, flying yoga experiences, creating your own mood lamp, cypress aroma experiences, professional profile photography, starlight tarot, and other programs with different charms are prepared to offer participants an enjoyable experience.
All participants will receive practical and heartfelt souvenirs. Yoga socks, planet-shaped keyrings, illuminated rose flowers, local specialties, and even Taebaek regional gift certificates are provided, ensuring the event participation contributes to the revitalization of the local economy.
Additionally, through collaboration with 'Yeogi Eoddae', Korea's representative travel and leisure platform, various special benefits are offered to participants. The first 150 participants will receive special goods prepared by Yeogi Eoddae, and accommodation-linked participants will receive additional accommodation discount coupons. Various prizes such as discount coupons and yoga mats will also be provided to event participants.
Choi Seong-hyeon, CEO of Gangwon Tourism Foundation, said, "Yoga under the starlight will be a special experience that goes beyond mere exercise to find balance of body and mind through communion with nature," adding, "Many participants will have a precious opportunity to reflect on themselves in the serene nature of Taebaek, escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and gain new energy."
