[Financial News] Na Kyung-won, a member of the People Power Party, criticized President Lee Jae-myung on the 14th, saying, "In front of new public officials, he preached integrity by saying 'money is the devil.' Could there be a more hypocritical scene?"
On this day, Representative Na said this on her Facebook account regarding President Lee Jae-myung's special lecture for 'new Grade 5 manager course trainees.'
She pointed out, "Is it something the ruling party president, who stops or dismisses his own trial, shakes investigative agencies, pushes for legislation to dismantle the prosecution, and tries to tame the judiciary, can say? What lesson can new public officials truly learn?"
She then mentioned the ministerial confirmation hearings of the Lee Jae-myung administration.
Representative Na criticized, "Ministerial confirmation hearings are being conducted one after another from this week. However, the nominated personnel are stained with various criminal charges beyond immorality," adding, "In the conservative government, it would have been difficult to even recommend such immoral and criminally charged personnel, but in the current administration, they are trying to seize key government positions."
She continued, "The ruling party declares it will push through appointments. This is because the president and the prime minister themselves have already broken the standards of morality and legal awareness," she emphasized.
Representative Na urged, "It is beyond moral insensitivity, it is moral bankruptcy. Integrity should be proven by one's actions, not words," and added, "If the president truly wants to talk about public ethics, he should sincerely attend his own criminal trial."
