[Financial News] A Jin Air aircraft attempting to enter Incheon Airport from Thailand has been delayed for about 14 hours due to an aircraft defect.
According to a comprehensive report by Financial News on the 15th, it was confirmed that a defect was discovered in the LJ010 flight aircraft, which was scheduled to depart from Chiang Mai International Airport, Thailand, at 9:45 PM (Thailand time) the previous day, preventing takeoff.
Over 300 passengers were stranded. Jin Air informed passengers of an alternative flight departing around 12 PM (Thailand time) on the 15th, but the departure is uncertain.
A passenger (38, female) staying locally said, "I was only informed by Jin Air that the aircraft failed the test and the takeoff was canceled, without a proper explanation of the aircraft defect," and added, "It is uncertain whether we can board the hastily arranged passenger plane. All passengers are tired and exhausted."
Meanwhile, Jin Air announced on the 23rd of last month that it would expand its investment in aviation safety, including the introduction of integrated flight management and next-generation flight control systems, and the acquisition of flight training devices.
However, just 15 days after the announcement, a defect occurred in the passenger plane, once again raising voices of criticism about 'safety insensitivity.'
Jin Air, which was delayed for at least 14 hours due to an aircraft defect, sent a notice to passengers via text message. Provided by the informant
