Seo Og-gyo Director, Spreads Safety Culture by Walking the Path of Industrial Safety for 28 Years


[Financial News] Busan-based BN Group announced that at the '2025 Industrial Safety and Health Month Busan Regional Ceremony' held at BEXCO on the 14th, Seo Og-gyo, director of its major affiliate Biensteel Co., Ltd. (pictured), received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor.
The ceremony was hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to raise awareness of industrial safety and health in the local community and to spread a culture of safety.
Director Seo Og-gyo was recognized for his contributions to reducing and preventing industrial accidents in the steel manufacturing industry by improving workplace environments and spreading a culture of safety over nearly 28 years in the field of industrial safety.
He led improvements in internal and external workplace environments through participation in the 2024 Safety Service Design Project, standardization and introduction of visual safety signs, and participation in worker safety challenges.
Director Seo stated, "This award is thanks to all the employees who have sweated together in unseen places to create a safe workplace," adding, "I will continue to contribute to creating a site where all members can work with peace of mind, in line with BN Group's ESG management."
Biensteel is a core affiliate of BN Group that manufactures surface-treated steel sheets for ships and home appliances. Recently, it introduced a small and medium-sized enterprise integrated production management system (Smart MES) capable of real-time collection and analysis of production process data, planning to build an intelligent production system based on manufacturing innovation.
