Park Sung-min, a 'Pro-Yoon' Member of Parliament, Elected as Chairman of the Ulsan City Party of the People Power Party

【Financial News Ulsan=Choi Soo-sang Reporter】 The Ulsan City Party of the People Power Party held the '2025 3rd City Party Executive Committee' at the city party auditorium on the 14th and elected pro-Yoon faction Member of Parliament Park Sung-min as the new city party chairman.
Member Park stated, "Now is the time for the Ulsan City Party to start anew with the citizens with a humble attitude," and added, "Although the regime has changed and we are now in the position of the opposition party, we will take this as an opportunity to achieve a landslide victory in next year's local elections by putting all our efforts into it."
He continued, "I will take the lead in ensuring that Ulsan once again firmly establishes its identity as the industrial capital of Korea and elevates its status," adding, "I will lead structural improvements so that politics contributes to making the people happy."
Member Park, whose constituency is Ulsan Jung-gu, took over the remaining term as city party chairman in February this year following the resignation of then-chairman Kim Sang-wook, and served as chairman until the 23rd of last month.
The city party chairman of the People Power Party has traditionally been taken in turn by the local constituency member of parliament, and in this city party chairman election process, Member Park ran unopposed.
The term of the city party chairman is one year, and they will lead until the local elections held in June next year.
