KOSDAQ Association Signs MOU with Korea Securities Depository for KOSDAQ Level-Up

[Financial News] The KOSDAQ Association announced that it signed a 'Business Agreement for KOSDAQ Companies Level-Up' with Korea Securities Depository on the 14th to support sustainable growth and level-up of KOSDAQ companies and contribute to the development of the capital market.
This business agreement includes △support for establishing transparent and efficient governance of KOSDAQ companies through the use of electronic securities, electronic voting, electronic general meetings, and electronic proxy voting △enhancing the stability of KOSDAQ companies' management activities and protecting investors' rights through securities agency services △identifying and seeking improvements for difficulties in the issuance and distribution markets △supporting the discovery and nurturing of excellent startups in connection with K-Camp.
Lee Dong-hoon, Chairman of KOSDAQ Association, stated, "Through cooperation with Korea Securities Depository, we plan to provide systematic and professional support to strengthen the competitiveness of KOSDAQ companies, which represent technology and innovation growth.”
Lee Sun-ho, President of Korea Securities Depository, said, “Through the active introduction of electronic securities, electronic voting, and electronic general meetings, KOSDAQ companies will proactively respond to the reinforcement of corporate responsibility management and expansion of shareholder rights protection following the recent amendment of the Commercial Act, thereby leveling up the transparency and reliability of the entire KOSDAQ market.”
