Cool Shorts Day until August 22
[Financial News] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 14th that it will implement 'Cool Shorts Day' for a total of six weeks from today until August 22, in response to the ongoing heatwave, to improve employees' working environment, and to encourage a flexible corporate culture.
This campaign is planned as part of corporate culture innovation to go beyond simple dress code relaxation, alleviate the rigid organizational atmosphere, and promote communication between generations and ranks. It also aims to induce energy-saving effects by reducing unnecessary cooling demand and to enhance work concentration so that employees can work in a more comfortable environment.
The corporation plans to lead the establishment of a culture of wearing shorts autonomously throughout the organization by providing free drinks to employees wearing shorts and operating various shorts certification events on an individual and team basis.
In particular, on the first day of the campaign, all executives wore shorts and attended the executive meeting, taking the lead so that anyone can freely participate in the campaign.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, "This campaign is a small challenge for organizational culture innovation and improvement of the working environment," and added, "We will continue to lead a flexible organizational culture by contemplating in various ways to create an organization where all employees want to work."
Meanwhile, Incheon Airport Corporation is operating various corporate culture programs to strengthen communication between generations and bonds among colleagues. In particular, from this year, it has newly launched the organizational culture platform 'AirBridge' and is introducing various programs to continue its all-out efforts to create a 'company you want to come to, an organization you want to be with.'
