KAMCO Opens 'KAMCObrary 44th Branch' in Buk-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City

[Financial News] KAMCO (Korea Asset Management Corporation) announced on the 14th that it held an opening ceremony for the 44th KAMCObrary branch at the 'Rodem Community Child Center' in Buk-gu, Daegu Metropolitan City on the 11th.
KAMCObrary is a compound word of 'KAMCO' and 'Library', a social contribution project where KAMCO remodels outdated spaces within community child centers to create small libraries, improving children's learning environments and supporting reading activities.
The event was attended by Han Chang-su, KAMCO Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters Director, Kim Seung-su, Member of the National Assembly for Buk-gu, Daegu, Kim Jae-yong, Daegu City Council Member, Kwon Ae-ja, Director of Welfare and Environment Bureau of Buk-gu, and Bae In-ho, President of the Daegu Branch of the Korean Red Cross, to celebrate the opening.
KAMCO remodeled some spaces within the Rodem Community Child Center, installed air conditioners, and provided furniture such as desks and bookshelves to create a comfortable reading environment. Additionally, they donated about 400 recommended books for children and adolescents (worth 5 million won) and plan to continuously support book purchases and reading guidance programs for the next five years.
Jeong Jeong-hoon, President of KAMCO, stated, "I hope local children will grow their dreams by reading books at KAMCObrary," and added, "KAMCO will continue to engage in social contribution activities to support the healthy and stable growth of children and adolescents."
Meanwhile, KAMCO is conducting various social contribution activities for children and adolescents in the fields of housing, education, and safety, such as △creating safe walking environments for children's school routes △improving residential environments for protected children △network programs to enhance the capabilities of university students in the Busan area.
