According to Jeonbuk University on the 14th, after being finally selected for the Glocal University 30 in 2023, it is carrying out various projects with the goal of attracting 5000 students.
Recently, it signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Bayanzurkh District, the largest district in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital, with the goal of attracting 1000 students. Bayanzurkh District is the largest district in Ulaanbaatar, producing 4071 high school graduates this year.
As a follow-up to the MOU signed on June 17, President Yang Obong and the Jeonbuk University delegation visited Mongolia on a 2-day schedule on the 10th to sign this memorandum of agreement.
At the signing ceremony held at the Bayanzurkh District Council, more than 50 key figures, including the chairman, attended.
With this agreement, the two institutions decided to work together to gradually attract 1000 students to Jeonbuk University.
The field of educational cooperation will focus on cutting-edge technology areas such as AI, resource energy, renewable energy, and semiconductors. Practical majors such as business administration and trade studies are also included.
Yang Obong, President of Jeonbuk University, said, "We will be a reliable stepping stone to design the dreams and future of Mongolian youth together," and "We will spare no effort to support students to achieve not only academic success at Jeonbuk University but also their life goals."
