[Financial News] Noh Yong-seok, the new Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, stated on the 14th, "In line with the Lee Jae-myung administration, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups must enhance the capabilities of SMEs, ventures, and small business owners to grow our industry through technology and establish a fair market order for coexistence."
Noh Vice Minister expressed in his inaugural address that "the newly launched Lee Jae-myung administration focuses on 'growth' to overcome the rapidly changing external environment, low birth rate, and low growth, aiming to create a Republic of Korea where all citizens can live 'happily'."
Noh Vice Minister shared his thoughts, saying he feels a heavy sense of responsibility being appointed as the Vice Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, a key department for the people's economy, in a time when the economy is more challenging than ever due to increased internal and external uncertainties.
Noh Vice Minister stated, "I will actively communicate to make the Ministry of SMEs and Startups 'a ministry that communicates'," adding, "I will listen to the voices of our policy clients, SMEs, ventures, and small business owners, as well as the general public, to create policies that can be directly felt on the ground." He continued, "I will also strive to become 'a vice minister that communicates' within the organization by frequently communicating with staff and affiliated institutions."
Additionally, Noh Vice Minister emphasized, "I will work hard to make the Ministry of SMEs and Startups 'a ministry that works well'," stating that "since the Ministry of SMEs and Startups deals with all the problems faced by our policy clients, it needs to have extensive expertise, and I will pay attention to enhancing policy capabilities and share my capabilities with you."
Noh Vice Minister graduated from the Department of Business Administration at Sungkyunkwan University and entered public service through the 41st Administrative Examination. He served in various roles such as Director of Growth Promotion and Director of Rechallenge Growth at the former Small and Medium Business Administration, and after its promotion to a ministry, he served as Director of Startup Promotion Policy, Director of SME Policy, and Director of Policy Planning.
