Korea Employment Information Service Holds New and Future Job Ideas Contest

[Financial News] Korea Employment Information Service announced that the '6th Korea New and Future Job Ideas Contest' will be held from the 14th to September 12th.
This contest, now in its 6th year, has been held annually since 2020 to gather diverse ideas that reflect a changing society, such as advanced technology convergence, eco-friendliness, and social value, and that can drive innovation and job creation in our society.
The themes of this contest include △ job creation ideas for new jobs discovered and proposed by the Korea Employment Information Service △ creative ideas for future jobs that may emerge. For young people, an additional theme of △ 'The new and future job I dream of in 2050' is included to encourage more active exploration and consideration of future jobs.
Eligibility is open to adults and youth interested in the future job world (individuals/teams of up to 5 people), and submissions must be made according to the application form posted on the contest website.
The awards include △ 5 winners in the general category △ 7 winners in the youth category △ 1 teacher guidance award, totaling 13 winners. The grand prize winner will receive the Minister of Employment and Labor Award and a cash prize. Excellence and encouragement award winners, as well as innovation idea award winners, will receive the Korea Employment Information Service Director Award and a cash prize. A career guidance teacher from middle or high school who has guided students' ideas to a higher level will receive a teacher guidance award, and the school will be provided with a gift certificate worth 1 million won.
Chang-Soo Lee, Director of the Korea Employment Information Service, said, "As the contest progresses, participation has been increasing explosively," and "I hope the contest will be an opportunity for various generations, including youth, to enjoy thinking about future jobs and to unfold their ideas."
