[Financial News] Dole Korea, a fruit production and distribution company, announced on the 14th that it held a donation ceremony at the Seoul Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled on the 11th and donated 35 million won in cash.
Dole Korea has been consistently engaging in sharing activities by donating the 'Family Happiness Fund for the Disabled' to the Seoul Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled since 2007 to cooperate and support welfare projects for the disabled. The total accumulated donation until this year is 560 million won.
In May, to celebrate Family Month, they sponsored the '15th Disability Understanding Quiz Show: Ring the Golden Bell' event hosted by the Seoul Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled. The quiz event, which provides a place for learning and harmony for both disabled and non-disabled children, saw Dole Korea providing sponsorship funds and fruits, with employees participating as volunteers to lend a hand.
The donation ceremony was attended by key figures, including Ryu Mi-seon, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs at Dole Korea, and Choi Mi-young, Director of Seoul Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled.
Ryu Mi-seon, Director of Human Resources and General Affairs at Dole Korea, said, “As a leading domestic fruit production and distribution company taking the lead in symbiotic activities, we are engaged in various sharing activities to contribute to the improvement of welfare for the disabled,” and added, “We will continue to strive to be a company that fulfills its social responsibilities by developing various support projects based on close cooperation with the Seoul Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled.”
