Four Family Members Found Dead in a Car in Dongtan Apartment Parking Lot

[Financial News]  Police reported that at around 10:20 AM on the 14th, a family of four, including Mr. A, a couple in their 40s, and their two teenage children, were found dead in a parked car in the underground parking lot of an apartment in Dongtan New Town, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province.

According to the police, at around 9:30 AM, a report was received at 112 from a staff member of the elementary school attended by Mr. A's child, stating, "The child did not attend school and the parents are unreachable."

Upon receiving the report and checking the circumstances at the home, the police discovered the family of four, including Mr. A, dead in the vehicle in the underground parking lot. A will, presumed to be left by Mr. A, was also found at the scene.

The police are investigating the case as a possible suicide based on the circumstances at the scene.

A police official stated, "The specific motive related to the case has not yet been confirmed. We plan to request an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to investigate the exact cause of death."
