LG Electronics 'StanbyME 2', Sequential Release in North America, Europe, and Asia Markets

[Financial News] LG Electronics announced on the 14th that it will sequentially release the portable screen 'LG StanbyME 2' in North America, Asia, and Europe markets starting this week and continuing into next month.
LG StanbyME 2 is a product that leads the portable screen market. It received favorable reviews from major overseas media at CES 2025, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition, earlier this year, and was so popular that the initial stock sold out in just 38 minutes during a live broadcast commemorating its domestic release. The sales volume of StanbyME 2 in the five months since its release recorded about four times that of its predecessor. LG Electronics plans to continue the momentum of strong domestic sales in overseas strategic markets with this overseas release.
Starting this week with Hong Kong and Türkiye, LG Electronics will successively release LG StanbyME 2 in July in the United States, Canada, Vietnam, and Singapore, and in August in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and Spain. Through this, they plan to solidify their leadership in the portable screen sector in major countries around the world. The American IT specialized media ZDNet evaluated, "LG StanbyME 2 is a product that achieves a proper balance of ingenuity, innovation, and performance." USA Today also praised StanbyME 2 as an 'essential smart TV', stating, "It's a product you'd want to secretly pack in your travel bag and bring home right now."
StanbyME 2 can be easily separated from the stand with just one button, without the complicated process of unscrewing, allowing it to be placed on a table or hung like a picture frame, enhancing the excellent portability and ease of use of its predecessor. It features a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) high-resolution touch display, Dolby Vision video technology, and Dolby Atmos surround sound technology from the video and audio technology brand Dolby. It can be used for up to 4 hours without a power connection due to its high-capacity battery. Its design excellence has also been recognized, winning both the 'iF Design Award' and the 'Red Dot Design Award', which are considered the top three global design awards.
