[Financial News] HiteJinro announced on the 14th that it will introduce four types of the Japanese premium whisky 'Fuji' series for the first time in Korea. With this, they completed a lineup of six types, adding to last year's imports of Fuji Sanroku Signature Blend and Fuji Single Malt Whisky.
The products being launched this time are Fuji Blended, Fuji Single Blended, Fuji Single Grain, and Fuji Single Malt 17 Years, totaling four types.
The Gotemba Distillery, which produces the Fuji series, was established by the Kirin Group in 1973. Located in the forests of Mount Fuji, it completes its unique character with clear and soft water from 100 meters underground, naturally purified over a long time.
It is the only place in the world capable of simultaneously producing malt whisky (using barley malt as the main ingredient) and grain whisky in the styles of the United States, Canada, and Scotland (using grains other than barley as the main ingredient).
Yoo Tae-young, Executive Director of HiteJinro, said, "We will strive to satisfy a wide range of customers from whisky beginners to enthusiasts through a diverse lineup."
