APR Strengthens Security Management... Acquires ISMS Certification and Information Protection Disclosure

[Financial News] APR is initiating security management based on trust. This is achieved through obtaining information protection management system certification and implementing information protection disclosures.
On the 14th, APR announced that it has recently acquired the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification and completed information protection disclosures, thereby fully establishing a security management system. The ISMS certification is a system that proves that the information protection management system established by a company meets the standards set by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). APR has further strengthened its information protection system as a foundation for sustainable corporate growth, as well as for customer information protection.
Information protection disclosure is a system where companies disclose their information protection investments and activities on a comprehensive portal operated by KISA. Introduced for the first time in 2015, it has been carried out voluntarily by companies, but since 2022, it has been converted to mandatory disclosure for some companies to support users' safe internet use and increase corporate responsibility for information protection. The faithful implementation of disclosures is becoming an important element of corporate management, along with the increasing importance of personal information protection.
APR's recent disclosure includes the scale of information protection investment, the status of related personnel composition, and more. APR has established an institutional foundation by operating mandatory education on information protection and personal information protection, conducting internal audits on information protection, reorganizing information protection policies and guidelines, and subscribing to personal information protection liability insurance to enhance information protection capabilities at the company level. To increase practical responsiveness, various security activities such as company-wide malicious email response training and screen saver installation and operation are continuously being promoted.
In the future, through stable operation and improvement of the information security system, the company plans to continuously enhance the overall level of information protection. In particular, as part of ESG management, information protection is considered an important task, and related activities will be consistently continued.
