[Financial News] Samsung C&T Construction Division announced on the 14th that it plans to create high-end community facilities and parking spaces in the underground space of the Gaepo Woosung 7th reconstruction complex.
Samsung C&T proposed an atrium community space with 4 underground floors and a height of 22m in Gaepo Woosung 7th. The atrium, covered with a skylight shaped like a crystal in a courtyard-style space with a wide-open ceiling, allows natural light to reach up to the 4th basement level, offering a bright and pleasant new paradigm of underground space.
The total community area is 13,970㎡, the largest in the Gaepo area. It amounts to 12.56㎡ per household, double the size of nearby new complexes, and if including underground storage space, it reaches up to 17.52㎡ per household.
The 4 underground floors centered around the atrium will house a large-scale community space called 'Club Raemian', consisting of four zones: △Life △Activity △Edu △Culture. Club Raemian plans to create a luxury space where members can enjoy a comfortable leisure life all year round by focusing on various sports and cultural facilities with high member preference, such as △Bright Aqua Park △Nature Fitness △Green Golf Club △Multipurpose Gymnasium △Running Track △Restaurant.
The 'Dual Peak Lounge', a sky community, offers private exercise facilities, a spa-type guest house, and a sky terrace lounge with beautiful views, providing a special rest to enjoy private leisure.
Additionally, each building plans to provide a more private community space with 'Within Learning Lab' for individual study and group study, and 'Within Cinema', a private movie theater.
55 types of various programs suitable for the community size will also be operated. Specialized community programs that various age groups can enjoy, such as Kids Library, Creative Studio, Sky Pilates, Solo Study Room, and Aqua Therapy, have been configured.
Meanwhile, a significant feature is the innovative underground space design that enhances the efficiency and convenience of underground parking space.
Through this, the largest parking capacity in the Gaepo area, with 2.21 cars per household, has been secured. Additionally, an 'Expressway' that allows direct descent from the parking entrance to the 4th basement level has been applied, dramatically improving the underground parking flow that previously required descending one floor at a time. The state-of-the-art parking system, applying Raemian's AI technology, guides residents to the nearest or preferred parking zone.
Myungseok Kim, Head of Samsung C&T Housing Business Division (Vice President), said, "The underground design of Gaepo Woosung 7th is different from existing communal residences," and "This community facility and parking lot will not just be hidden spaces, but will be the starting point to confirm the new future of underground spaces and change the paradigm of life."
