Sharing the Latest Trends in Disaster Response and Health Services Using AI Technology
【Financial News】The Korean Regional Information Development Institute announced on the 14th that it will hold the '2025 3rd Online Regular Seminar' on the theme of 'AI Agent Era, Disaster and Health' in collaboration with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation of Germany on the 17th at 2 PM.
The seminar is prepared to share the latest trends in disaster response and health services using AI technology and to comprehensively examine the possibilities and limitations of AI agent utilization in the public sector.
The first presentation will be given by Professor Kim Byung-sik of Kangwon National University's Department of Electronic AI System Engineering on the theme of 'AI Convergence Disaster Management Trends and Prospects in the Climate Crisis Era'.
Professor Kim will introduce the flow of the latest disaster management technology combined with AI and data-based prediction systems and the possibility of policy application.
The second presentation will be by Professor Baek Eun-mi of the Department of Preventive Medicine at the Catholic University of Korea College of Medicine, on the theme of 'Health Management and Robots in the AI Agent Era', addressing cases of health management services combined with AI and robot technology, and discussing the possibilities and ethical issues of AI utilization in the healthcare field.
After the two presentations, there will be a real-time Q&A and discussion between experts and online participants, providing a time to share various opinions on the introduction of AI technology in the public sector.
The seminar can be watched live by anyone through the official YouTube channel of the Development Institute, and a link accessible on the event day will be individually sent if pre-registered by 11 AM on the 17th through the QR code in the promotional poster.
