Former Mayor Hong said, "Despite this, the so-called conservatives in this land followed Moon Jae-in's two hunting dogs, brought them into the conservative party, and followed them like lemmings, and I have never forgotten those years," adding, "Now those two are receiving the karma of their actions." This is interpreted as meaning that the re-arrest of former President Yoon is the karma from his time as the head of the special investigation team for former President Park Geun-hye, and former representative Han is also mentioned.

He continued, "Even though I have repeatedly advised them to work together well if they are entrusted with state affairs, political prosecutors who took positions unfit for them are now receiving the punishment for ruining the party, conservatism, and the country by fighting among themselves," he criticized.

He also said, "The group that followed those two must also pay the price for their sins so that there will never again be hunting dogs rampaging in this land. Prosecutorial reform must be achieved from that perspective," emphasizing, "There must never again be political prosecutors manipulating state affairs and ruining the country."
