KORAIL Implements Account Transfer Refund Service

[Financial News] Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) announced that from the 14th, it will implement the 'Cash Payment Ticket Account Transfer Refund Service'.
The service allows customers to apply for a refund online for tickets paid in cash. It was introduced to alleviate the inconvenience for customers who had to visit the station counter to receive a refund for tickets paid in cash.
To apply, enter the ticket number, the account number for the refund, and the applicant's phone number on the KORAIL website. The refund will be deposited into the account within 7 days from the date of receipt.
However, standing and free seat tickets, as well as regular tickets, can still be refunded at the station counter as before.
Lee Minseong, Head of Customer Marketing, said, "We will strive to improve even the smallest inconveniences so that customers can use the railway more conveniently."
