[Financial News] Customized consulting was conducted to support companies residing in the Busan Technopark (TP) Eomgung Complex in entering the public procurement market. This was conducted targeting relatively small and medium-sized enterprises, imparting know-how to expand their public market channels.
Busan Technopark (TP) and Busan Regional Procurement Office announced on the 14th that they successfully held the 'Public Procurement Guide Consulting' on the 11th at the Eomgung Complex in Sasang-gu, Busan TP.
This consulting is a regular program of the Busan Procurement Office, discovering companies new to public procurement on-site and providing consulting tailored to each company's situation. This event was conducted to provide practical information and tips to companies interested in entering the public procurement market within the Eomgung Complex and to support their competitiveness in expanding market channels.
Kim Yooseok, head of the One-Stop Business Support Team at Busan TP, said, "Starting with the Public Procurement Guide Consulting with the Busan Procurement Office, we plan to continue providing practical support so that local companies can stably enter and grow in the procurement market," adding, "We plan to promote various support policies to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and creating quality jobs."
On this day, a representative from the Busan Procurement Office visited the Eomgung Complex site to conduct one-on-one customized consultations with resident companies, sharing market structure, bidding procedures, registration requirements, and entry strategies. Additionally, they introduced the 'Innovative Procurement Package Support Project' being promoted by Busan TP, providing various support information.
This support project targets small and medium-sized enterprises with innovative prototypes or those preparing for registration, supporting the entire process from entering the public procurement market to procurement and export consulting, intellectual property registration, and certification acquisition. It is particularly noted as an effective policy due to cases driving sustainable growth, such as expanding sales of local technology SMEs.
A representative from a participating resident company said, "There was a lack of information on entering the procurement market, making it difficult to attempt entry. This consulting helped find direction and gain confidence," adding, "The information and tips that can be directly applied to practice were a great help."
