Kyobo Securities Releases 2024 Integrated Report Containing 'ESG Management Strategy'

[Financial News] Kyobo Securities announced on the 14th that it has published the '2024 Integrated Report' containing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management performance and sustainable management strategies.
This report focuses on Kyobo Securities' ESG strategy, 'Action for Positive Change,' which aims to create positive changes in the world, and includes specific actions to strengthen sustainability and responsible management.
Since the first integrated report was published in 2022, the company has been continuously reviewing ESG performance and communicating with stakeholders annually. 
The report reflects global disclosure standards such as GRI (Global Reporting Initiative), SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board), and TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), and enhances reliability and objectivity through third-party verification by the Korean Standards Association.
It also includes the results of a 'double materiality assessment' that comprehensively analyzes the impact of corporate activities on the environment and society and the impact of external changes on financial performance.
The report includes strategies and execution results for three key issues derived from this assessment: △Climate Change Response △Consumer Rights Protection △Customer Information and Data Security.
In particular, in the field of consumer rights protection, the company aims to realize 'consumer-centered management through communication innovation' and has established a three-phase mid- to long-term roadmap by 2028, presenting plans to enhance customer trust.
Additionally, the report details company-wide sustainable management practices, including △Eco-friendly Management △Employee Respect Culture △Community Participation △Governance △Ethical and Compliance Management △Digital and Innovative Finance △ESG Finance.

Meanwhile, Kyobo Securities continues to achieve excellent results in external evaluations, including △Selection as one of the 'Top 100 ESG Excellent Companies' by Sustinvest △Consumer-Centered Management (CCM) Certification △ISO Anti-Corruption and Safety and Health Certification △Winning the 'Korea Sustainability Report Award' for three consecutive years.
