[Financial News] Choi Chang-nam, President of Hope Friend Kia Daechaek, participated in the 'Youth Illegal Cyber Gambling Eradication Challenge' organized by the Seoul Police Agency.
According to Hope Friend Kia Daechaek on the 14th, this challenge was planned to raise awareness of the seriousness of illegal cyber gambling targeting youth and to prevent it from leading to secondary crimes such as school violence.
The challenge is being conducted in a relay format where key figures from various sectors of society nominate the next participants, spreading social consensus on youth protection.
President Choi said, "As youth who are familiar with the digital environment are easily exposed to the temptation of gambling, our society must come together to ensure that the future generation, the youth, can grow up healthy without being exposed to illegal gambling. Kia Daechaek has been carrying out various projects to protect children and youth domestically and internationally, and we empathize with this campaign and are participating together."
Meanwhile, President Choi participated in the challenge after being nominated by Hwang Young-gi, President of Green Umbrella. He nominated Jo Myung-hwan, President of World Vision, Im Gwi-bok, CEO of Wikicorea, and Lee Sun-young, Ambassador and Announcer of Hope Friend Kia Daechaek, as the next participants, supporting the continuous spread of the campaign.
