KORAIL Implements 'Account Transfer Refund Service'... Reducing the Hassle of Visiting Ticket Counters
This service is introduced as an 'Online Refund Application Service' to alleviate the inconvenience of having to visit ticket counters to refund tickets paid in cash.
Applications can be made by entering the ticket number, the account number to receive the refund, and the applicant's phone number on the KORAIL website. Refunds will be deposited into the applied account within 7 days from the date of receipt.
However, standing and free seating tickets, regular tickets, etc., can still be refunded at the ticket counters as before.
Lee Minseong, head of KORAIL's Customer Marketing Division, said, "We have introduced this service to reduce the hassle of visiting stations for ticket refunds," and added, "We will strive to improve even the smallest inconveniences so that customers can use the railway more conveniently."
