[Financial News] The Small Business Market Promotion Corporation is starting to accept applications for the 'Small Business Burden Reduction Credit' support project. The main point of this project is to provide a credit worth 500,000 won in the form of a card to alleviate the burden of public utility fees and four major insurance premiums for small business owners.
According to Sojin Gong on the 14th, the support targets are small business owners with annual sales exceeding 0 won and less than 300 million won in 2024 or 2025. The 500,000 won provided can be used for public utility fees such as electricity, gas, and water, as well as for the payment of national pension, health insurance, and employment and industrial accident insurance premiums.
Applications can be made by simply entering basic information such as the business registration number on the dedicated website. No separate document submission is required. Once confirmed as an eligible recipient, the credit will be provided to the card registered at the time of application (choose one from Kookmin, Nonghyup, BC, Samsung, Shinhan, Woori, Hana, Hyundai, or Lotte Card). The usage period is until December 31.
Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. on this day until 6 p.m. on November 28. To prevent initial congestion, a five-day system will be operated in the first week (14th-18th) according to the last digit of the business registration number.
Sojin Gong warned against phishing damage using similar domains and urged applications to be made through the official website.
Park Seong-hyo, chairman of Sojin Gong, said, "It is part of a policy to practically alleviate the management burden of small business owners and help stable business operations," and "We hope that the Small Business Burden Reduction Credit will help reduce the fixed cost burden of small business owners."
