Shinhan Financial Holds Launch Ceremony for 'Dream Team for Disabled Youth' 20th Term

[Financial News] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 14th that it held the launch ceremony for the 20th term of the 'Dream Team for Disabled Youth'.
The 'Dream Team for Disabled Youth' is an overseas training program for disabled youth aspiring to become global leaders, providing opportunities for global mindset development and career exploration in collaboration with the Korea Disabled Rehabilitation Association.
Shinhan Financial has selected and supported a total of 1,086 youths until last year, and this year plans to deliver 500 million won in sponsorship funds to support the growth and challenges of disabled youth.
This 20th term is themed 'The Acting Dream Team for Disabled Youth', dividing the schedule into △planned training conducted with experts △free training where youths plan the training process themselves. Notably, this training includes Boccia national athlete Kim Han-su, visually impaired anchor Heo Woo-ryeong, and other actively engaged disabled youths from various fields. A total of 52 disabled and non-disabled youths will pair up to take on challenges in three countries: the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States.
Jin Ok-dong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial, stated, “I hope this 'Dream Team for Disabled Youth' becomes a journey of growth where many things are felt and learned,” adding, “Shinhan Financial will continue to create various programs for the dreams and challenges of disabled youth to continue the resonance of hope.”
