[Financial News] The Public Procurement Service announced on the 14th that it has confirmed the items for the second lease pilot purchase of the year and the institutions that will use these products, and disclosed the results on the Innovation Market.
This lease pilot purchase is the second to be conducted following the first on March 17, with a scale of 2.6 billion won, selecting 26 products and 67 institutions to use these products.
The lease pilot purchase is a newly introduced method this year to expand the opportunity to use products that are expensive or require pilot use by multiple institutions, and products that are difficult to use with the existing direct purchase method due to high maintenance burdens.
This time, products such as an AI algorithm-applied recycling automatic collector, AI social robot, 3D camera for microscopes, educational robots for nurturing future fusion talents, and depression improvement content will be leased for pilot use in various institutions, and product testing and performance improvement will be conducted.
Hee-Hoon Kang, Director of New Growth Procurement Planning at the Public Procurement Service, said, “The lease pilot purchase was introduced to expand the opportunity for pilot use of expensive equipment, products that require testing in various institutions and environments, and products with high maintenance costs,” adding, “We will continue to provide comprehensive support so that companies can develop innovative technologies and grow through public procurement.”
