Shin Young-jae, Hongcheon County Governor "Actively Promote Current Projects Such as Passing the Preliminary Feasibility Study for the Yongmun~Hongcheon Metropolitan Railway Project"

【Financial News Hongcheon=Kim Ki-seop reporter】Shin Young-jae, the governor of Hongcheon County, announced plans to actively promote local pending projects, including passing the preliminary feasibility study for the Yongmun~Hongcheon metropolitan railway project, based on the top 10 achievements over the past 3 years of the 8th civil election.
Governor Shin held a press conference on the 14th at the 1st floor conference room of the Hongcheon National Antibody Cluster and explained the top 10 achievements of the 8th civil election and announced future key promotion directions.
Hongcheon County has been designated as a national advanced strategic industry specialized complex, establishing itself as a future strategic hub leading the bio-health industry.
Additionally, the urban advanced industrial complex has been designated as an opportunity development zone, selected for a customized manpower training support project, and achieved clear results in various pending projects, such as the Yongmun~Hongcheon metropolitan railway project being selected as a preliminary feasibility study target project by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance.
In the welfare sector, the county implemented the nation's first smart care vest pilot project, realizing technology welfare responding to an aging society, and led customized welfare policies for everyone's happiness through the selection of smart senior centers and housing infrastructure-linked care service competitions.
Governor Shin expressed his intention to realize "Hongcheon, the top economic city leaping forward" by concretizing major policies during his term and promoting key policies such as economic vitality, welfare enhancement, and rural vitality with speed.
First, the county plans to realize field-centered customized administration and strengthen administrative platforms based on citizen participation, such as the smart village head network, Hongcheon County administrative map, and military family communication space, to realize life-cycle customized welfare.
Additionally, the county plans to smoothly promote the Hongcheon National Antibody Cluster project, a future growth engine project, and establish a foundation for attracting companies by creating a 100,000㎡ northern industrial complex by the end of this year.
Along with this, the county will focus on alleviating the agricultural burden in the aging era and creating a good living environment in rural areas, while also planning to improve the educational environment for local students and intensively foster the Hongcheon River Starlight Music Beer Festival and Hongcheon River Frozen Festival to enhance brand competitiveness as representative festivals of Hongcheon County.
In particular, the county plans to concentrate administrative capabilities to ensure that the Yongmun~Hongcheon metropolitan railway project, selected as a preliminary feasibility study target project by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance in January last year, can pass the preliminary feasibility study and start construction early.
