Broadcaster Tyler Rasch and Weathercaster Jung Joo-hee Also Responded
[Financial News] Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 14th that broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk responded to its eco-friendly hydrogen mobility vision.
Hyundai announced last month that it would conduct the 'Nexo Love Call Campaign' to share eco-friendly values and hydrogen mobility vision. At the same time, it proposed to various celebrities to join the journey of 'The All-New Nexo'.
Outdoor advertisements installed in five locations in Seoul, including Gangnam-daero and Dosan-daero, featured the phrase 'Dear. MC Yoo' along with images of glasses and a suit that could hint at the person. The person was Yoo Jae-suk. In response, Yoo Jae-suk released a video on Hyundai's official YouTube and his agency Antenna's official Instagram account on the 7th, saying, "The journey of hydrogen mobility without CO2, I, Yoo Jae-suk, will join with Nexo."
On the 9th, Hyundai posted a message on its official Instagram account encouraging the public to participate in the love call. Broadcaster Tyler Rasch and weathercaster Jung Joo-hee also posted messages expressing their agreement with Nexo's hydrogen mobility journey.
On this day, three short videos featuring Yoo Jae-suk explaining why he rides the Nexo were released on Hyundai's official YouTube. The videos were structured as conversations between Hyundai employees and Yoo Jae-suk on topics such as △eco-friendliness △hydrogen energy △charging and driving range (AER).
The released videos emphasized that The All-New Nexo is an eco-friendly car that only emits water without CO2, and showed scenes where Yoo Jae-suk agrees with eco-friendly hydrogen energy and is surprised by Nexo's performance of being able to drive 720 km with a 5-minute charge.
In the last scene of the video, Yoo Jae-suk says, "That's why I ride the Nexo. I really do," revealing the reason for choosing Nexo.
A Hyundai representative said, "We hope that Hyundai's eco-friendly hydrogen mobility vision will be widely known and gain sympathy from many people thanks to Yoo Jae-suk's participation in this campaign," and expressed gratitude to Yoo Jae-suk for choosing Nexo and actively participating in the Nexo love call.
The All-New Nexo is a complete change model of Nexo, introduced 7 years after its launch in March 2018.
