Seongnam City Expands 'All-Pass' Support for Unemployed Youths from Age 34 to 39

Up to 1 million won for language and certification course fees, increasing supported certifications to 1010 types
The target is all unemployed youths aged 19 to 39 (born between January 1, 1985, and December 31, 2006) who have been registered residents in Seongnam City for more than one year as of the application date.
Support is provided to those who have completed related course enrollment or exam application after the first implementation date of January 1, 2023, and the city has increased the number of supported certification fields from the existing 903 types to 1010 types.
The support fields include △20 types of language exams such as TOEIC, Chinese, and Spanish △Korean History Proficiency Test △540 types of national technical certifications such as Computer Utilization Ability, Korean Cuisine, Beauty, and Baking △97 types of nationally recognized private certifications such as Graphic Technology Certification, Computerized Tax Accounting, and Artificial Intelligence Utilization Ability Certification (AICE, new) △352 types of national professional certifications such as Light Aircraft Pilot (new), Data Trader (new), and Statement Assistant (new).
Course fees are supported regardless of whether the classes are online or offline.
Support is provided to applicants of youth age without restrictions on the number of applications or course enrollments within the maximum support amount (1 million won).
If the full 1 million won was not received in 2023 and last year, the remaining balance can be applied for again this time.
Low-income youths, such as basic livelihood security recipients, are supported up to 2 million won.
To apply, send various documents such as the application or course confirmation, payment receipt, and a copy of the bankbook through the Gyeonggi Job Foundation Integrated Application System 'Jobaba Apply' throughout the year.
The city will verify whether there is any duplicate support for similar projects and qualifications, and then provide the support funds to the applicant's account in their name at the end of the following month after application.
Over the past two years, the city has supported a total of 4.3 billion won in language and certification course fees and exam fees to 13,679 youths over six months.
