Hana Tour, Analysis of Customer Satisfaction Survey
As overseas travelers increasingly prefer nearby destinations and short itineraries, the 'short trip' trend continues to emerge.
Hana Tour analyzed its package data from January to December last year and announced on the 14th that short trips of less than 7 days recorded relatively higher satisfaction compared to long trips of 7 days or more.
The highest satisfaction for short trips by region was 'Shikoku 4 days', followed by 'Chiang Mai 5 days', and 'Okinawa 4 days'. The travel themes were △sustainable travel △healing and relaxation △dining and gastronomy △tourism + free time △tourism in order.
In the satisfaction survey by flight time, flights of '4-8 hours' showed the highest satisfaction, and for travel itineraries, 4 days, 5 days, and 6 days were found to have high satisfaction. According to Hana Tour's analysis, Southeast Asia, including Chiang Mai, Da Nang, and Laos, was the main destination that met these criteria.
Meanwhile, many travelers showed relatively high satisfaction with healing and relaxation theme products, including hotel stays, hot spring hotels, and free time. This is interpreted as reflecting the psychology of expecting definite rest by using proven package tours in a busy daily life.
A Hana Tour representative said, "Short-distance and short-term travel has definitely become a trend among travelers recently," adding, "With the popularity of quick-turn trips and the potential implementation of a four-day workweek, the demand for short-distance travel is expected to continue to increase."
