Lotte Innovate Conducts AI Photo Volunteering for Seniors

[Financial News] Lotte Innovate announced on the 14th that it held a social contribution activity on the 11th by inviting seniors from Geumcheon-gu to take photos and generate images of their younger days using artificial intelligence (AI).
Since 2021, Lotte Innovate has been taking longevity photos of seniors from vulnerable groups through talent donations from its employees, supporting the second life of seniors in the local community. About 30 seniors participated in this event, and Lotte Innovate employees directly supported all processes, including makeup, costume changes, shooting, and editing.
Additionally, Yoo Seong-hoon, the mayor of Geumcheon-gu, and Oh Sil-mook, the head of Lotte Innovate's Management Support Division, attended to share the sentiment.
Especially this year, Lotte Innovate's AI technology was used to recreate the appearance of seniors in their 20s, 40s, and 50s, gifting it to them. The reaction of the seniors who saw their younger selves, transformed instantly by AI from photos taken on-site, was very enthusiastic.
One senior who participated in the event said, "I feel nostalgic realizing I was once this young," and expressed gratitude, saying, "It's amazing to experience AI that I only saw on the news."
Meanwhile, Lotte Innovate is fulfilling its corporate social responsibility by conducting various social contributions, such as the Love Blood Donation Bus and volunteering at stray cat protection centers.
