Busan City, OK Savings Bank Sign Home Ground Agreement with Professional Volleyball Team

[Financial News] Busan City announced that on the 14th at 11:00 AM, they will sign an agreement with the OK Savings Bank Uhtman Professional Volleyball Team to make Busan their home ground at the City Hall's small conference room.
The signing ceremony will be attended by Mayor Park Hyung-jun, Team Owner Choi Yoon, Uhtman Volleyball Team Director Kwon Cheol-geun, and Coach Shin Young-chul.
This agreement establishes Busan City as the home ground for the OK Uhtman Volleyball Team and focuses on expanding sports enjoyment opportunities for citizens and contributing to the development of the local sports industry. 
Under the agreement, the two organizations will actively cooperate to revitalize the local economy, promote healthy leisure activities for citizens, and advance and activate Busan's sports culture.
The city plans to fully renovate the Gangseo Indoor Gymnasium, which will be used as the home stadium, and provide various support to ensure the volleyball team successfully settles in Busan and achieves good results.
The OK Uhtman Volleyball Team will use the indoor gymnasium at Gangseo Sports Park as their home stadium starting from the 2025-2026 season.
Busan has 13 elementary, middle, and high school volleyball teams and over 200 amateur teams, with the number of enthusiasts reaching about 1,700.
The city will operate various events and programs in conjunction with the professional team to increase citizens' interest following the relocation of the OK Uhtman Volleyball Team's home ground and to promote professional sports. 
Additionally, they plan to foster young volleyball talents, expand the amateur base, and improve facilities to promote both elite and recreational sports.
Mayor Park stated, "Now Busan has become a city with all four major professional sports teams, allowing citizens to enjoy professional sports all year round," adding, "We will actively support the OK Savings Bank Uhtman Professional Volleyball Team to deeply root in Busan and grow into a prestigious team loved by citizens."
