[Financial News] On Monday the 14th, rain is expected to continue nationwide, which will alleviate the heat.

The Korea Meteorological Administration announced that the rain that started in Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Yeongnam regions will spread nationwide by the morning and continue intermittently until the afternoon of the 15th. In the case of Gangwon Yeongdong, precipitation may continue until the evening of the 15th.

During the weekend, the low pressure that caused significant precipitation in the Yeongnam region moved to the East Sea.

Due to the influence of the low pressure that moved to the East Sea, an east wind is expected to bring significant precipitation to the Gangwon Yeongdong region.

In the mid-northern part of Gangwon Yeongdong, heavy rain of 30~50mm per hour may fall between the afternoon of this day and the morning of the 15th, requiring special attention.

The expected precipitation until the 15th is △Ulleungdo·Dokdo 50~100mm (maximum over 150mm) △Gangwon Yeongdong mid-northern 30~80mm (maximum over 120mm) △Yeongnam region 20~60mm △Seoul Metropolitan Area·Gangwon Yeongdong southern·Gangwon Yeongseo·Chungcheong region·Honam region 10~50mm △West Sea 5 Islands·Jeju region 5~20mm.

It seems that the precipitation phenomenon will continue due to the late monsoon season pattern.

As the western pressure trough approaches again and the North Pacific high pressure expands its influence, a hot and humid southwesterly wind will flow in, and rain is expected nationwide from the 16th to the 19th.

In the central region, the monsoon has not yet ended, and this precipitation is classified as monsoon rain.

Due to the influence of low pressure, strong winds with a speed of over 70 km/h (20 m/s) will blow in the East Coast area on this day.

Strong winds with a speed of around 55 km/h (70 km/h in mountainous areas) are also forecasted in other regions.

In the East Coast, swells will rush in from the afternoon, and high waves are expected to hit the coast strongly, so it is advised to avoid approaching the coast.

At sea, a wind and wave warning is in effect for the southern sea of Jeju, the eastern sea of the southern sea, and the southern sea of the East Sea, and from the morning of this day, winds of 30~60 km/h (9~16 m/s) and waves reaching 1.5~4.0 m are expected in the central and southern parts of the East Sea.

Due to rain and strong winds, temperatures are expected to remain at normal levels.

The temperature recorded at dawn on this day was 20~23 degrees.

As of 8 a.m., the temperatures in major cities were △Seoul 25.1 degrees △Incheon 23.9 degrees △Daejeon 22.4 degrees △Gwangju 22.8 degrees △Daegu 23 degrees △Ulsan 20.7 degrees △Busan 22 degrees.

The highest temperature during the day is expected to be 24~31 degrees.

Complete relief from the heat is difficult, as the temperature temporarily drops during rain and rises again in high humidity after the rain stops, bringing back the heat.
