[Financial News] LG Chem is introducing an app that aggregates fertility and infertility information, which can be overwhelming to find. LG Chem announced on the 14th that it is launching the application 'BLOOM', which can be used by all fertile couples preparing for pregnancy and experiencing infertility, as well as general women who need fertility preservation information.
LG Chem named it BLOOM by connecting the joy of 'new life' and the 'swollen belly' of pregnant women.
BLOOM is an app that LG Chem has enhanced in reliability through consultation and verification with the Korean Society of Reproductive Medicine and the Korean Society of Assisted Reproduction. You can check extensive and complex fertility and infertility information in one place through the app.
To develop the app, LG Chem conducted preliminary interviews with fertile women and specialists, selecting only practically useful and necessary information and functions to configure the menu.
'Infertility Encyclopedia' and 'Fertility Self-Diagnosis' are representative menus. It provides information from the causes of infertility to methods of preserving fertility and suggests customized fertility management plans through 10 short questions based on expert advice and domestic and international references. Additionally, △ 'Step by Step' guides the complex infertility treatment process step by step △ 'Checklist' confirms what to prepare before visiting the hospital △ 'FAQ' organizes expert answers to frequently asked questions in major categories such as diagnosis, examination, and embryo transfer △ 'Shelter' menu is a space for empathy and consolation among app users.
You can search for infertility centers nationwide through 'Find a Hospital' and easily check information such as infertility support policies and psychological counseling centers.
LG Chem plans to expand the content to cover women's healthcare in general so that general women who wish to preserve fertility, such as infertility prevention and egg freezing, can obtain information through the app without burden.
Kim Sung-ho, head of LG Chem's Specialty-Care Division, said, "As the No. 1 company in the domestic infertility treatment market, we are introducing BLOOM for sincere communication with customers," adding, "We will be a reliable partner accompanying women's healthy lives and the treatment journey of infertile families."
The BLOOM app can be downloaded for free by searching for 'infertility' or 'trusted infertility information' on Google Play and the App Store.
