[Financial News] Devsisters' TCG (Trading Card Game) 'Cookie Run: Braver's Card Game' was officially launched in the North American market, the home of TCG, on the 11th (local time).
According to Devsisters on the 14th, the Cookie Run Card Game is a physical TCG planned and developed directly by Devsisters based on the Cookie Run IP, which has over 200 million accumulated global users. It features cards with Cookie Run's unique characters and world view, and intuitive yet strategic gameplay.
The Cookie Run Card Game has started sales in over 200 offline card shops in North America and plans to expand its sales channels to online platforms such as Amazon and the live streaming shopping platform Whatnot. The initial production quantity produced through local B2B events such as GAMA Expo and ACD Expo this year has been fully shipped to card shops across North America, and additional supply is being prepared. Local distribution is handled by ACD Distribution in the United States and Universal Distribution in Canada, both of which have years of experience in distributing famous TCGs.
Simultaneously with the launch on the 11th, the competitive league 'Brave League' season also began. Earlier this month, a pre-launch event consisting of demo experiences and play tournaments was held at over 150 local card shops, attracting the interest and participation of many players.
The Brave League season operates on a roughly three-month cycle in line with regular product release cycles, and players can participate in official events hosted by authorized card shops to earn 'Brave Points'. The season ranking is determined based on the accumulated points collected in this way. Each card shop can host official events awarding Brave Points up to four times a month during the season.
The 'PLAY' community platform for Cookie Run Card Game players in North America has also been opened. PLAY offers various features such as event participation applications, season points and ranking inquiries, and card deck sharing, and will be expanded to the Asian region in the future.
Meanwhile, the Cookie Run Card Game will participate in the board game fair 'Gen Con 2025' held in Indianapolis, USA, from the 31st to the 3rd of next month. Gen Con is the largest board game event in North America, visited by over 70,000 people last year, and is also the first large-scale consumer contact point for the Cookie Run Card Game in North America. The Cookie Run Card Game plans to operate a main booth and on-site experience zone to communicate directly with local fans.
In line with the official launch in North America, the Cookie Run Card Game plans to open social channels such as the official YouTube channel, English X account, and official Discord server, and continuously communicate with players to promote community growth. Content such as unboxing and game reviews collaborated with local influencers in North America will also be released sequentially.
