[Financial News]  Busan City will sign an agreement with the OK Savings Bank Uthman professional volleyball team to make Busan their home base at the small conference room on the 12th floor of City Hall today (14th) in the morning. The signing ceremony will be attended by Mayor Park Hyung-jun, owner Choi Yoon, Uthman Volleyball Team General Manager Kwon Chul-geun, and Coach Shin Young-chul.
This agreement aims to make Busan City the home base of the OK Savings Bank Uthman Volleyball Team, expanding citizens' opportunities to enjoy sports and contributing to the development of the local sports industry.
Busan City plans to fully renovate the Gangseo Indoor Gymnasium, which will be used as the home stadium, and support the volleyball team to successfully settle in Busan.
The OK Uthman Volleyball Team will use the indoor gymnasium within the Gangseo Sports Park as their home stadium starting from the 2025-2026 season.
Busan has 13 elementary, middle, and high school volleyball teams and over 200 amateur teams, with the number of amateurs reaching about 1,700.
Mayor Park Hyung-jun said, "Now Busan has all four professional sports teams, allowing us to enjoy professional sports throughout the year."
