Hongcheon River Water Leisure Event '2025 Waterplay Hongcheon' Opens on the 31st

【Financial News Hongcheon=Kim Gi-seop Reporter】Hongcheon County Office and Gangwon Tourism Foundation will operate '2025 Waterplay Hongcheon' from July 31 to August 3 for four days at Hongcheon River Tori Forest in Hongcheon County, Gangwon Province.
The program will be held in conjunction with the Hongcheon River Starlight Music Beer Festival, allowing visitors to enjoy paddleboarding on the clear and calm Hongcheon River during the day, and moon boats, UFO boats, and other night programs in the evening.
In particular, a brewery tour program will also be operated, adding a variety of attractions.
Convenience facilities such as showers and changing rooms are provided in the Tori Forest area near the venue, allowing visitors to enjoy various sights, foods, and activities at the beer festival after experiencing paddleboarding.
The Hongcheon River, boasting clean water quality and beautiful natural scenery, is a popular destination for family travelers in the summer, and this program aims to offer a leisurely and unique water experience in nature.
The paddleboard program is operated for 50 people per session, with some participants recruited on a first-come, first-served basis on-site. The moon boats and UFO boats at night are operated through on-site registration.
Choi Seong-hyeon, CEO of Gangwon Tourism Foundation, said, "This water leisure experience at Hongcheon River is a special opportunity to enhance the charm of Gangwon in the summer," adding, "It will be a unique experience to enjoy nature along with the beer festival."
