[Financial News]   After continuously setting all-time highs, Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, took a breather but has once again reached a new peak.

On the 13th (local time), according to U.S. cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, at 11:22 AM Eastern Time, Bitcoin was trading at $119,049 per coin, up 1.37% from 24 hours earlier.

This is the first time Bitcoin has broken through the $119,000 mark. At the same time, it surpassed the previous all-time high of $118,800 set on the 11th in just two days. On this day, the price of Bitcoin rose to as high as $119,400, marking a peak.

Bitcoin first broke through the $112,000 mark on the 9th and continued its upward trend, reaching $118,800 on the 11th. After being briefly halted by strong selling pressure, Bitcoin's price resumed its upward trend, bringing it close to the $120,000 mark.

Expectations for the U.S. Congress's 'Crypto Week' are said to be reflected in the market. The U.S. House is expected to consider three cryptocurrency bills this week, including the Genius (GENIUS) stablecoin regulation bill. French Hill, Chairman of the U.S. House Financial Services Committee (Republican, Arkansas), has stated that this week will be 'Crypto Week.'
If these bills pass, the market expects it will gain momentum from the pro-cryptocurrency policies of the Donald Trump administration.

At the same time, Ethereum, the second-largest by market capitalization, rose 2.5% to regain the $3,000 mark, and XRP (Ripple) rose 5.84% to $2.87. XRP has recently shown an upward trend, surpassing the stablecoin Tether to become the third-largest by market cap.
