[Financial News] "It was really... a crazy experience."
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, recalled in an interview with Fox News on the 11th (local time) about the shooting incident that occurred about a year ago, saying, "I can't believe it's been a year."
Trump explained the situation at the time, saying, "A huge crowd gathered, and suddenly there was a very strange noise and I felt something," and "I quickly ducked."
He continued, "People shouted 'Get down,'" and "It was really a crazy experience," he conveyed.
He also emphasized, "Many things have happened since then, including becoming president," and "I feel I have an obligation to do well because I feel I was saved by someone truly special."
He claimed, "People who have fired guns say it couldn't have missed," and "It did hit, but it missed."
He added, "Sometimes I feel a throbbing sensation," and "I hope the reason I survived was to save our country."
Previously, on July 13th last year, around 6:10 PM, Trump suffered a gunshot wound that tore the upper part of his right ear during a presidential campaign in Butler, Pennsylvania. One attendee died from the shooting, and the shooter was killed on the spot by the Secret Service.
