Woori Financial held the Woori WON Day event under the theme "When we gather, we become WOORI" and celebrated the completion of Woori Financial as a comprehensive financial group through the newly integrated insurance companies.
Lim Jong-ryong, Chairman of Woori Financial, as well as representatives from Dongyang and ABL Life, and 160 employees from each company, including outstanding sales staff, along with 121 representatives and employees from group affiliates, totaling 461 attendees, participated in this event. It began with ice-breaking and team-building programs to foster intimacy and unity among employees. The main event included △Welcome Speech △Group Specialized Public Interest Project Fund Delivery Ceremony △Business Kit Presentation Ceremony △Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation Children's Choir Celebration Performance, and concluded with a time of communication and harmony through a dinner.
In the welcome speech, Lim Jong-ryong, Chairman of Woori Financial, addressed the employees of Dongyang and ABL Life, saying, "You have all become part of the Woori Financial family, and now we are each other's insured," and promised, "Today is the day when the two insurance companies truly became one family under the solid foundation of Woori Financial. We will respect each company's expertise and autonomy and grow into a bigger and stronger insurance company with the full support of the group."
Following the welcome speech, the Group Specialized Public Interest Project Fund Delivery Ceremony was held. Lim Jong-ryong personally delivered the public interest project funds to the social contribution managers of Dongyang and ABL Life to expand Woori Financial's specialized public interest project, 'With Woori 17 Project.' The 'With Woori 17 Project' means that Woori Financial Group's 17 affiliates carry out signature public interest projects that match each company's characteristics. Dongyang Life will carry out the 'With Woori Guardian Angel Project.' ABL Life will conduct public interest projects under the 'With Woori A Better Life Project.'
After the delivery ceremony of the public interest project funds, Lim Jong-ryong personally presented a business kit containing a group ID card, business card, and emblem to four representatives of Dongyang and ABL Life employees, congratulating them on becoming part of the Woori Financial family. Bae Hyun-kyu, a senior from Dongyang Life who took the stage for the Business Kit Presentation Ceremony, expressed his feelings, saying, "After receiving the group ID card and business card directly from the chairman at today's event, I truly felt like a member of Woori Financial Group," and added, "I think my parents will be proud when I show them."
